The feud between LaKeith Stanfield and Charlamagne was reignited after an interview The Breakfast Club host conducted with Stanfield’s Judas and the Black Messiah co-star Daniel Kaluuya.

During the interview, Charlamagne asked Kaluuya, “Did you find yourself looking at LaKeith differently after the way he played this role because he did it too well?”

Kaluuya dodged the question by asking Charlamagne if he still had beef with Stanfield to which he responded, “I never had an issue with him. I do feel like he was born to play this role, though.”

After the radio hosts shared a laugh over Charlamagne’s remark, Kaluuya shut it down by saying, “We’re not having that.”

The actor continued by explaining the difficulty Stanfield had playing the role because his character’s political leanings didn’t align with his. He added that Stanfield made “the biggest sacrifice” for the film and had some days where “he was really going through it” on set.

LaKeith Stanfield caught the interview clip when it was posted and called Charlamagne out in his comment.

“H**s. This what h**s do,” Stanfield wrote. “Get sonned by the reality. Get off me bro u a lame. Daniel ain’t an idiot. Leave me be dog and find somebody else.
